The Rooboard increases the intensity of this exercise markedly by adding tension leading to greater and quicker increases in chest strength, power and balance.
Playlist Of Upper Body Balance Board Exercises
With training our balance and stability can improve markedly. These subtle changes in the way our body moves around its centre of gravity and the speed in which it does so, can have a huge impact in our quality of life and sporting performances. Balance board training will strengthen and straighten our posture which is vital for preventing lower back injuries and seated repetitive strain injuries.
Balance training is functional. This means we are engaging several muscle groups at the same time using a natural flow and transition through the movements. Strength training usually involves isolating a single muscle while we apply stress to it. When we add the balance component we also engage the stabiliser muscles.
Balance Board Training Exercises
Many balance or wobble boards have a sandpaper grip surface or plastic knobs that are hard on the hands or feet. The Rooboard has an indented EVA grip surface which is also raised 3mm above the deck for extra comfort. This means it can be used from the hands, forearms, feet and for seated exercises.
By placing the flat surface of the balance pads against the floor and the fulcrum point against the bottom of the board the Rooboard designers created the most usable exercise product on the market. Unlike other products it will not damage flooring or sink into the ground when used outdoors. The pads have a calculated foam density and the use of concave and convex surfaces between the pads and deck create the perfect instability for balance and core training.
The Rooboard does away with the unnecessary size of most balance products which makes it the ultimate travel and commuter friendly fitness product.
