Plank exercises using the Rooboard balance trainer are simple exercises for core strength. The Rooboard forces the core to engage to maintain balance which increases the intensity of your workouts leading to faster and more pronounced strength gains.
Narrow squats (feet together) as opposed to wide squats help to increase strength, balance and stability.
The Rooboard can be used for narrow squats, single leg squats and loaded squats. Use these three variations for dynamic balance and strength training.
By changing the foot positioning we isolate different areas of the major leg muscles; the quadriceps, gluteus maximus and gastrocnemius.
