Balanced Fitness
Fitness trackers cannot tell us what to do they can only recap the exercise we have performed. This may help or as many are finding it can prove to be irrelevant as fitness or cardiovascular fitness to be exact is only one part of the many facets that make up peak physical conditioning. Over training in one of these facets can actually lead to fitness related illness.
The body works on many different levels to adjust to the lifestyle we present it with. It will strengthen, increase oxygen capacity, become more flexible, fast, agile and powerful. This can either be through the work we do, the sporting activities or the exercise stresses we place our body under.
Functional fitness is a good indicator of our bodies ability to perform at its peak depending on the activity. Functional fitness is also impossible for fitness trackers to calculate or standardise. We have to listen to our body and target our exercise specifically to achieve true fitness functionality.

History
“Necessity, who is the mother of invention.”
Plato
Designed in the United Kingdom by Mason Gilmour DipSpSt, a former triathlete, fitness trainer, health club manager and life-long surfer. The Rooboard was created to fulfil specific training requirements within tight parameters. These being, it had to produce solid results, be extremely durable (in order to take a thrashing) and be easily transportable.
The Rooboard was born out of a passion to increase fitness, strength and balance. It had to increase muscular symmetry and performance for action sports like surfing, skating and skiing. And, it had to fit busy proactive lifestyles and be extremely portable, as in the daily work commute, flights, hotel rooms and those cheeky moments when you want to workout quickly and discreetly.
