The Rooboard had been designed to be used for injury rehabilitation and injury prevention. Its small size and usability makes it ideal for a number of range of motion and strengthening exercises. It is being used in the home and in clinic settings. Its unique portability also makes it ideal for the patient to take home with them to continue their rehabilitation.
The Rooboard is designed to be sat on, stood on or used with the hands or forearms placed on the deck. The grip surface is made from high density EVA foam which is embedded into the deck for extra comfort.
It can placed on the floor or on a chair for sitting exercises. The two balance fulcrums are made from high density EVA foam and are extremely resistant to stress. They make the movement (wobble) of the Rooboard very adjustable, from early to
The Rooboard is excellent for improving the core strength of older and the previously inactivers. It is also perfect for rehabilitation after ankle, knee and hip injuries.
An alternative to fit balls, bosu’s and surf derived balance boards
The Rooboard is less than half the cost of a Bosu Balance Trainer but has more exercise options and is truly portable.
Most of the exercises that can be performed on a fit ball or swiss ball can also be performed on the Rooboard. But, the Rooboard only takes up a fraction of the same storage space.
Most surf or skate derived balance boards can be dangerous to use, especially for first time users and can be impossible to use for an older person or someone recovering from injuries. The unique design of the Rooboard enables it to be used by all age groups and ability levels.
” The Rooboard is producing some excellent results with my patients, who are suffering from vestibular conditions, as well as sports injury patients needing to progress their high level balance training. I would highly recommend this product”
