Rehabilitation from sprains
” The Rooboard is producing some excellent results with my patients, who are suffering from vestibular conditions, as well as sports injury patients needing to progress their high level balance training. I would highly recommend this product”
Jesse Cope, Consultant physiotherapist, The Body Factory, Harrow UK
Size and portability
The portability of the Rooboard makes its perfect for performing rehabilitation exercises wherever you may be. You can perform range of motion and stretching exercises while sitting or standing. This makes it an excellent tool in the rehabilitation of ankle and knee sprains.
At only 30cm in length and 600 grams in weight the Rooboard can be easily transported. You can use it at home, while seated at you desk or standing.
“A well designed bit of kit, also much smaller than wobble boards and without a ball to get damaged or wear out. Cleverly adjustable by rearranging the parts, I use it in the kitchen during those spare minutes while waiting for the vegetables to cook for dinner. It’s also really useful to be able to see a video of possible exercises. I think it would also be excellent for balance rehab following a sprained ankle or foot.”

By using both balance pads at the start of you rehabilitation you can gently strengthen the ligaments and tendons around your sprain. As your injury heals you can then move to a single pad to promote range of motion and test the level of recovery.
The picture below shows the inventor of the Rooboard, using the Rooboard with a single pad, to recover from a sprained knee injury he received from a nasty surfing wipeout. He was back surfing within a week.
