From the very start of the design phase we focused on outcomes. The Rooboard had to perform the maximum amount of exercises, to benefit the widest range of muscle groups. This includes balance and stability, core strength, fitness, rehabilitation and sports specific training methods. The results from this small package can be staggering. From weight loss, to substantial gains in power, strength, balance and agility.
This is when it become apparent that going small in size was the best solution. We did away with all the unnecessary plastic and wood you get with other products and focused on making something comfortable, durable, compact and very portable.
We experimented with different degrees of hardness using high density EVA foam and changed the level of curvature on the top of the pads, until we got the best possible match. This is why the Rooboard can be used as a balance board, slant board and a fitness platform.
