“I work out 5 times a week, I eat right (most of the time…), yet I’m puzzled as to why I don’t have a tummy like Jessica Ennis! How can I adapt my workout to achieve this seemingly unattainable goal? (Without having to become an Olympic athlete obviously!)
Well, help is at hand! Thanks to the new miracle creation – Rooboard, my toning troubles look to become a thing of the past! Designed in the UK by former triathlete, fitness trainer, health club manager and life-long surfer (this guy knows his stuff), Mason Gilmour, the Rooboard was created to fulfil specific training requirements within tight constraints. These being, that it be extremely durable and easily transportable, and most importantly, that the product must produce solid results.” Full review on Fitness Freak here

“A well designed bit of kit, also much smaller than wobble boards and without a ball to get damaged or wear out. Cleverly adjustable by rearranging the parts, I use it in the kitchen during those spare minutes while waiting for the vegetables to cook for dinner. It’s also really useful to be able to see a video of possible exercises. I think it would also be excellent for balance rehab following a sprained ankle or foot.”

“I received my Rooboard a couple of weeks ago now, it arrived promptly and as a surprisingly small and light package. Clearly lightweight and compact was by design; storing it at home isn’t an issue and it comes with a neat carry case making carrying it to my local park easy.
A couple of years ago I started moving away from weightlifting in the gym and more towards interval training, cardio and other programs aimed at complementing the range of sports I love. Having tried out other products in this market, I was keen to see if I could add variety and depth to my routines with the Rooboard. It certainly achieves this; a range of new exercises become available and has greater versatility than many other products I have used on the market. To try and go into detail would be to do it an injustice; for a rather extensive list of ideas and ways in which to add it into your workout plan, check out their website. For those exercises you already know and can perform without equipment, the Rooboard adds an additional balance aspect to those too. Even with simple exercises such as push ups, when adding in the Rooboard I can feel this forcing my muscles to work together and to learn to support my own bodyweight, ideal for building the more functional physique from an athletic perspective that I’ve been aiming for.
This is a great product, it’s added significantly to my workout plan and with so much you can do with such a small product, I can see it being a key part of my training for a long time. 5 stars”

“The Rooboard was an instant hit in the MSW office, it’s simple, compact and you can use it for all sorts of different exercises, you don’t need a lot of space like other balance boards and you can get started straight away with simple exercises.” Full review here.

“Every exercise you do on the floor, the intensity is amped up twofold when done on the Rooboard, because you have to balance yourself at the same time. My balance was embarrassing at the start, just getting on the board to begin the workout seemed like enough exercise for me. But as ever, I endured and eventually started to feel like I was getting somewhere”. Full review here.

” The Rooboard is producing some excellent results with my patients, who are suffering from vestibular conditions, as well as sports injury patients needing to progress their high level balance training. I would highly recommend this product”

“Brought this for myself to use for surfing training, but now use it with my clients. Excellent piece of kit as it is very portable, really comes into its own when performing core exercises.”

“I started shifting towards body weight training and especially HIIT sessions over the last couple of years. I became so happy with the results of this type of training that I gave up my gym membership. My other great love is surfing.
I had been looking for, a simple piece of fitness equipment, that would complement my body weight sessions and also increase my balance and core stability for surfing, when I was told about the Rooboard. I needed something extremely portable to carry with me to work and use while traveling. The size of the Rooboard initially attracted me. After using it, I was amazed how well it worked.
Simply put, this product really delivers the results. I have cut body fat and increased power, balance and agility. It has given me a lean and muscular body shape, with the type of definition that screams active, rather than gym trained. I have also identified and worked on a couple of muscular imbalances that have increased my surfing performance.
Highly recommend. Looking forward to the day this is used for classes – it could get me back to the gym.”

“I came home from work a couple of days after to find a neat little package that was packed with my Rooboard. I opened it up and my first impressions were great…It was light and compact which would be perfect for taking to the gym; and didn’t look like the usual bland coloured ‘balance boards’ you would usually see.
After a quick look on the website at the vast amount of exercises you can use the Rooboard for, I decided to try out the core exercises for a week and see how it worked. It’s gooood!!
Due to the instability you can really feel it working the smaller accessory muscles and the tell tale signs on the dreaded Abs doms the following day confirmed it provides a damn good core workout.” Full review here.
